MASS MoCA Gala, Angel Orensanz Foundation

New York, NY

The Mezze Catering team traveled to New York’s Lower East Side to cater MASS MoCA’s annual gala. It was held for the third time at the Angel Orensanz Foundation, the oldest reformed synagogue in the U.S. The evening began with the guests arriving when we checked their coats and invited them upstairs to enjoy cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres. During the cocktail hour, guests had an opportunity to view the wide array of interesting and unique auction items. The guests were then invited to dinner. Upon arrival at their table, guests found a pre-plated, winter-inspired first course of curly endive salad with Asian pear, celeriac and walnut vinaigrette. The entrée of red wine braised beef with roasted root vegetables walnut parsnip followed. Dinner ended with truffles donated by Purple Cow Truffles.
