Your input and cooperation on the design of the event, and the menu planning, and the coordination of the tent and the facilities was extraordinary. And I don’t think anyone will forget the amazing Jubilee quartet of cocktails you concocted especially for us. Furthermore, the staff on the day of the event was pleasant, helpful and extremely efficient and courteous serving our guests. All in all, the event had that rare combination of splendid glamour, exquisite food and a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. I was the Williams Reunion Chair this year for the Class of ’64. Mezze catered a dinner for us in Stetson Lounge. After the dinner I told Nancy Thomas that they had done such a superb job that I would be happy to recommend them to anyone. I, and my classmates who attended, were both impressed and very pleased with Mezze’s performance. In the months before the dinner, Linda Stripp was very helpful and accommodating working with me in planning the dinner and managing the details. The evening of the dinner, Linda and Nancy were both at the event to make certain that it went off without a hitch, and it did, much to my great relief and delight. The food was excellent, particularly in light of the tiny room off the main lobby that they had to work with for food prep, and the service was attentive, efficient and thoroughly professional. It was far and away the most memorable event of the weekend, starting with the room, which is a beautiful setting, the table settings which were lovely, and the food, which was up to Mezze’s high standards. I received more compliments from attendees on that evening than on anything else during the weekend. This event was special, in very large measure because of the work of the Mezze staff.

On a personal note, I just wanted to say that Peter, Ryan and I work so hard to make the Fringe happen and we work as volunteers because we care so deeply about supporting emerging artists and new work. Even with all of our recent success, incredible press and growth,  it has been a really challenging year in terms of fund raising. The $14,000 raised at the gala is making a huge difference for us right now in keeping our doors open and I can’t describe how grateful we are. Not to mention the fact that you have all been such a total joy to work with in every possible way!
